Nepal SC orders to end cast discrimination in Sanskrit school Nepal top court has ordered for ending caste discrimination in admissions in a Sanskrit school managed by the Pashupati temple trust, as the interim constitution guarantees equal rights to all. Supreme Court has ordered Veda Vidyashram, a Sanskrit school, of Pashupati area to enroll students from all castes irrespective of castes. The four decade old school only allowed admission to high-caste Hindu Bramhins. The court has made the decision in the case against Vidyashram filed by a lawyer who argued its admissions policy was wrong and illegal. The school has 75 Bramhin students from 75 districts of the country, one from each district. Now the court has asked the school to admit students from all castes who want to study Sanskrit as the Interim Constitution of the Republic Nepal guarantees equality to all irrespective of caste and creed, said an official at the Pashupati Area Development Trust, that manages the Vidyashram. "The court has ruled that there should be no caste-based discrimination in getting admission into the Sanskrit school,"the official said. The school, established in Kathmandu in 1974, takes children as young as nine years old for instruction in Hindu rituals and Sanskrit language. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ For more options, visit AIMSA group at http://groups.google.co.in/group/aimsaformadhesi AIMSA Blog Url- http://indiamadhesi.wordpress.com or visit http://www.aimsanepal.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
Thanks Sujitji/Ram Manaoharji. I had an inquiry with few of the colleges. In Banaglaore most of the colleges do not have hostel faicilities for 10+2 or if they have then they do merge hostel facilities with degree students, which is not good for 10+2 students. The other factor which is stopping me as the colleges are getting admission closed shortly and they are not ready to book the seat without marks card and we get very late SLC results in Nepal. I had an inquiry in St. John's in Chennai, Oxford college and few more in Bangalore and few in Hyderabad like HPC. We are expecting 3 weeks with the result marks card and the migration certification from Nepal, So i feel the colleges which get max students from Nepal for 10+2 will be the better option, as these colleges are copeable with the Nepal results. So these type of colleges we get maximum in Andhra, where most of the Nepali students come to pursue thier higher secondary education.
Sujitji, I dont have access to Orkut from office and I got your scrap notification in my gmail id, Could not call you as i had come come back from Nepal. Hope sometimes i can meet u in Bangalore whenever i come there as its been a long time. Even i am trying to find time so that i can meet AIMSA Friends in Bangalore as I dont know most of them. Still I have not finalized the college, once the results come :) Thanks a lot to Everyone. Really its good place where we can share our knowlege and thoughts to go ahead :) Regards, Tribhuwan

Thanks Shreenarayan for your information. I am not opting for this college as few of my friends studied there and they do not prefer that college as its state board, few more factors which stopped me for choosing. As i studied in Siddartha Residential School in Vijayawada in 2001, Many of the students left from Tenali and then joined our college, so I too dont have positive mind towards that college. If someone could suggest on few more colleges where we have got Nepali students studied recently, then really it will be appreciated. Really thanks for your response shreenarayanj :) Regards, Tribhuwan 09944932031

@ Bhuwan, I am Diwakar Yadav, currently working in Steel plant Bokaro as engineer. As far my information Hyderabad will be best for +2, i will like to make u note that there is ISC courses which is state board colleges, but with that they provide coaching for Medical & Engineering entrance parallely so it would be better for him to compete in future entrance examz, If he wish to go for commerce field than better option is north india preferably delhi. Thank You Regards Diwakar Yadav

Bhuwan, Surendra (AIMSA) has also done 10+2 from Andhra. He can help you there. You can try for Pune/Maharastra. An ICSE board school in Pune, website is http://www.spicerschool.com/about_us.html . They will need result (even online result at earliest) will do. Have hostel. Fee can be negotiated as per Indian student. For foreigner, its double the fee. Maharstra government have implemented online admission process for maharastra board. They need result as well. http://fyjc.org.in/StaticPages/HomePage.aspx Thanks, Ram Manohar -------------------- On Jun 12, 8:59 pm, ψ Ŝhree <shreenarayan...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello Tribhuwan Ji, > > There is numbers of colleges are available but in My knowledge this > is one of the good college in South India for Nepali Students. > > You may ask Him to inquiry about " Sri Vivekananda Junior College, > Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India ". > > I am not able to give You Website URL or any contact No. as of now. > But I will try to get it as soon as possible. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ For more options, visit AIMSA group at http://groups.google.co.in/group/aimsaformadhesi AIMSA Blog Url- http://indiamadhesi.wordpress.com or visit http://www.aimsanepal.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
