ICCR:-FISA-B
Bangalore: What is ICCR? ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations)
is working as umbrella for the International students who are in
India. ICCR have many branches in different States of India. It is
governed by Central Government of India. Through this scheme (ICCR)
India provides Scholarship for many countries. They provides
scholarship in many Faculty (BBM, BCA, MBA, MCA and many more) any one
can apply for scholarship to study in India through Indian Embassy.
Only Bonafied and Eligible students are been scholared.
  Under this ICCR there is one Association which is non-political. It
is famous by FISA-B (Federation of International Students Association
in Bangalore). Which is established making aim to bring INTER-ACT
among the students, to share their culture, value, beliefs and to? And
make representative country to known to others. It's really work like
organisation because they used elect students for Executive members in
a Democrat way. It has 16 executive members only from 16 countries.
The executive posts are like:
President
Vice-president
>One male
>One female
3. General Secretary
>Joined G.S
4. Sport Secretary
> Joined S.S
5. Cultural.Sec
> Joined C.sec
 And many more I couldn't remember.
They Choose FIVE members as representative from each country, among
five one is being elected as executive member as well as
representative of the country.


  From Nepal five representative members are:
Mr. Lokendra  Yadav
Mr. Sunil Adhikari
Ms. Pratikcha Singh
Ms. Paridhi Acharaya
Ms. Nirma Chaudhary
The election process of FISA-B was held on 24/OCT/2008 at 2:45pm
(Friday) at STATE YOUTH CENTER, BANAGLORE.On same date from Nepal we
stand for three posts for executive member but we were elected for
Joined Cultural Secretary. We were nominated as, Mr. Sunil Adhikari
for General Secretary but one of Srilankan student won and he was
elected for this post.Mr. Lokendra Yadav for Personal Secretary but
Myanmar student won for this post's. Pratikcha Singh for Joined
secretary and finally she won for this post. We didn't lose because it
was ours first experience and it was first time that Nepalese students
went forward for FISA-B. We are very happy that we got chance due to
credit from Mr. Sujit Thakur .We thanks him from our core of heart.
I (Sunil Adhikari ) personally request  all Nepalese(Madeshi) students
to come forward or from dark to light to represent our country, our
cultural and more which we can show the world. This is the time my
friends because this STAGE to show world.
We have to organise one cultural programme for FISA-B, so please
contact me or Sujit Thakur(9886599611)  those who are really intrested
to show Nepal.
