[AIMSA "Unity in Diversity"] Other Backward Caste

Other Backward Caste (OBC) is this division within Society by giving another angle of game for dirty politics???

Friends we have seen the lots of changes in our country in the short span of time. There was the time when Nepal seems to have its own unique culture tradition and peaceful country in the world. We all used to be proud of our culture, traditional and peacefulness in the country. We used to hear that in neighboring country like India, china, Bangladesh, Pakistan has lot of conflict and war within themselves.

But in the short span of time by 2001 A.D; Nepal has been in the dalmatic situation where all the problem starts  side by side by giving one after another politics game of opportunity for dirty politicians. In realistic none of the politician wants to see the country to have the good future and work for welfare of society.

Now the OBC topic seems to have great interest for the politician in our country. OBC is another strategy for the politician to make the division within the society. This type of division gives the politician again another chance to play the Vote  Bank Politics in our society. They want to divide the society in different sects by caste and religion and rule again by making all the people fool. They want to create the problem in society.

In today society I, you and we cannot say that all the OBC are backward in terms of wealth and all the Brahmins of society are good in wealth. This equation cannot be well formulated and proved since we all know that god has given variation within own sibling also. There is variation within the same caste and within the same family in terms of wealth, knowledge banks etc.

As the Citizen responsibility and to have good future of our country I would support if the Reservation would be given in terms of Family Economic Conditions not in terms of Caste and religion. Today we are living in the 21st Century where the world has seen change. Change is everywhere. But only those Change should be accepted which would lead all of us to move forward and have better future for our coming generation. There should be reservation based on the Family Annual income or certain benchmarking criteria should be formulated which would give the equal opportunity for all the Nepalese. Government should make the database of people and give certain scholarship program only to those students whose family economic condition is poor. The objective is to have the growth of society irrespective of Caste. I have seen some of really good family economic condition children studying in the scholarship program only because of Caste tag benefit. Society won't see any change if only those people get chance of everything that really have self capacity to do. To have change in society we need to give chance to that person who really needs help. As a responsible citizen we can only help person and let them to grow if they have right intention to grow.
